I’m interested in the process by which we take ownership of our personal narratives, deconstruct and re-imagine them. At the heart of my artistic practice is the belief that to really tell any story well, you must first be willing to tell your own - honestly. Our stories color the lens through which we perceive the world around us and inform what we project onto each other. And yet, story is how we come to understand who we are, and what is at stake for us culturally, socially, economically, and politically.
